Easy Logistics is a transport company based in Truganina, in the heart of Melbourne’s western freight belt. We move freight for businesses across Wyndham and Melbourne’s West, from local delivery and truck-and-driver hire to specialised, regional and interstate freight. We started in 2021 with a single truck. Today we run a company-owned fleet of five vehicles, backed by a trusted network of owner-drivers and transport partners.

We were selected to a rapid-response panel supporting the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action on bushfire and forest-fire freight in Victoria, and we handle regular laundry transport for Department of Justice and Community Safety prison facilities in Melbourne’s West.

- The right truck for the load. Our fleet runs from 4.5t to 22t, including refrigerated vans, curtain-siders, tailgate trucks and tilt trays.
And it’s personal. Easy Logistics is family-owned and operated, started in Melbourne in 2021 by a second-generation owner whose family built a successful transport company in Tanzania. Freight is the family trade, so you’re working with people who take the name on the truck personally.
Meet Kamal, our founder
Transport is in Kamal Motichand’s DNA. A third-generation transporter, he grew up in Tanzania around the family business, R.J. Motichand Transport Ltd, a company with more than 40 years of history and a fleet of over 170 trucks serving East and Central Africa.
He helped operate that business before bringing generations of experience to Australia in 2021, starting again in a new market and rebuilding one delivery at a time. His view is simple: whether you run one truck or a hundred, the basics don’t change. Be honest, communicate properly, and do what you say you will.
That belief shapes how we treat the wider industry, too. We don’t see every operator as a competitor; where we can, we help smaller owner-drivers find suitable work and sort out practical problems like safe truck parking in Truganina.
Kamal is an active member of BNI Business Network West in Werribee, where he has served as chapter President. Five things guide the way we run: work hard, be honest, take responsibility, help people, and keep moving.
